The designer, artist and editor Rolf M. Vogt was born 1936
in Basel, Switzerland. He is married and has a son and a
daughter and five grandchildren.
After his education as a designer in Basel, he studies in
London and Paris. After 1962 he was Publicity Coordinator
for Knoll International and Knoll Assosiates with the
haedoffice in New York.
He started 1966 his own design-, foto- and filmstudio,
together with Roger Humbert fotographer and 1985 the Studio
was transformed into a compagny with the new Pertner Eugen
Leu also photographer. When Rolf M. Vogt was 55 years old,
he sold his shares.
After 1985 the first designs on textiles and wallpapers
where published and from 1986 he started his freelace- and
artistic-works with Exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland.
Rolf M. Vogt received 1977 from H.R.H. Prinz Philip, Duke
of Edinburg, President of the Royal Society of Arts, London
the ‚Presidential Award for Design Management'.
